The complete set includes the Smarter accessory. The Smarter is designed as an upgrade for beginners or less experienced breakers. It does not allow the breaker to put his hand with the belaying end of the rope over the breaker, in this case the self-locking function of the Smarter 2.0 is significantly reduced.
Once the breaker has safely mastered the technique of feeding and retrieving the rope, it can be removed from the breaker again. Smarter does not restrict the use of the belay device in any way. Smarter can only be used with Smart 2.0.
