FENIX HM65R-DT tmavě fialová - Rechargeable headlamp

The Fenix HM65R-DT rechargeable headlamp features a lightweight magnesium alloy construction, high water and drop resistance, unique dual reflector design and a total output of up to 1500 lumens. The reflectors produce well-focused light beams. One with a colder white light of approx. 6500K (so-called daylight white) and the other with a warm white light of approx. 3000K.

The luminous flux of the main reflector is up to 1300 lumens, the second reflector offers a maximum output of 400 lumens. The control of both LEDs is independent of each other, the light from the two spotlights can be combined to achieve a lumen output of up to 1500 lumens (when both spotlights are switched on at the same time, their maximum output is 1150 + 350 lumens).

Both light sources offer three lighting modes. A single 18650 type Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh is used for power, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In an emergency, the headlamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.

The headlamp is made of magnesium alloy, which is one-third lighter than aluminum. Its construction is fully dustproof and waterproof to a depth of 2 metres to IP68 standard, and also shockproof to drops from a height of 2 metres.

Like other Fenix trail headlamp models, the HM65R-DT features a wide strap with Sport Fit System with a single rotary wheel for easy strap length adjustment. On your head, you can quickly and comfortably tighten the headband with one hand. The strap is also perforated and equipped with reflective elements that ensure good passive visibility.

Thanks to its lighter weight and construction, the headlamp is particularly interesting for trail running. It is also suitable for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, cross-country skiing, fishing...). Guaranteed to serve you well in any situation!

All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproof, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Warranty: five years on headlamp and two years on battery.

1. The light sources are the Luminus SST-40 (6500K) and Luminus SST-20 (3000K) LEDs both with a 50,000 hour light life.
2. The main reflector produces a light cone with a range of 170 meters (7167 cd), the secondary reflector illuminates up to 92 meters (2103 cd).
3. Due to mechanical protection against reverse polarity, the batteries must have a protruding plus pole. Therefore, older Fenix batteries with a flat plus pole cannot be used.
4. Alternatively, two disposable CR123A lithium batteries can be used for power (do not try to recharge them in the headlamp).
5. With prolonged use of individual light modes, the headlamp gradually reduces power in small increments to achieve longer light duration.
6. Any Fenix 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery from our range can be purchased as a replacement battery.
7. Waterproof and dustproof to IP68 standard (tested underwater at a depth of 2 meters for 30 minutes).

Using the Fenix HM65R-DT Headlamp
The battery pack may have an insulating cap from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
The main reflector is switched on by holding the right button (approx. 0.5s), the warm tinted reflector is switched on by holding the left button (0.5s). The headlamp will always switch on in the lowest power mode. The light functions are switched by briefly pressing the corresponding button. Both headlights can be switched on at the same time.
Battery charge indication - After a short press of any button (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED battery charge indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs indicate the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged.
Control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press either or both buttons and hold for min. 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash to indicate lock. To unlock, both buttons must be held for three seconds.
Overheat protection: If the temperature of the headlamp exceeds 65°C it will automatically begin to reduce power in gradual steps until the temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature drops below 65°C it can be switched to higher power modes again.
Battery Low Warning: When the voltage drops below a certain threshold it will automatically switch to a lower power mode, if the battery status indicator starts flashing while the light is on then the battery is almost dead.
Charging: Flip off the USB-C connector cap and plug in the included charging cable, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank or USB mains or car adapter (not included). During charging, status LEDs show the charging progress. When charging is complete, all four are lit. It takes approximately 3 hours to charge a fully discharged battery. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low main or warm spotlight mode.
Using the head strap length adjustment dial: To tighten the strap, press the dial and turn it clockwise. To loosen the strap, pull the wheel up and loosen the strap.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, it will violate the warranty.
Use only high quality Li-ion 18650 batteries, if using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the headlamp.
If the headlamp blinks, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead - charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
