The Farpoint 40 backpack is one of the lightest travel bags from OSPREY. It may look like a classic bag, but if you look closely and unzip the back panel, you'll suddenly see the shoulder straps with a hip belt. The bag has padded handles on the top and sides. The handles allow you to take the bag easily and quickly in your hands whether at the airport or anywhere else..

Farpoint 40 allows you to keep everything close at hand. It features a large zipper that makes it easy to get into the main pocket. The zipper is lockable, which increases security. The internal compression straps then allow you to fully maximize the capacity of the pack while securing your clothes. If you look closely you will also find a hidden pocket for electronics and sunglasses.

There are two mesh pockets in the front for things like water bottles and a padded laptop compartment inside. Thanks to the buckles, you can attach the backpack more firmly to your body. Two logos on the front add a stylish touch to the backpack.

I used the Farpoint 40 on a trip through Java, Bali and Australia for 3 months. Excellent choice for a lightweight, organised back pack. Easily fit into airline carry-on baggage requirements. I've traveled with a lot of international and domestic flights and have had no problems. Excellent internal compression straps, keeps everything in place and reduces bulk. Well made with durable material - especially the zippers are good quality. There is a zipped section inside the main compartment, ideal for medication or important documents. I have been using this backpack for two years now and it has been with me on many trips all over Europe. My girlfriend envied it so much that I bought it for her too and now traveling is much easier for both of us. We have stopped checking luggage at the airport because of it.
