Use
To use tatami, a flat and solid surface free of dirt is essential. Before using the tatami for the first time, wash with lukewarm water and detergent and allow to dry freely. The tatami can be operated at room temperature, protected from the effects of direct sunlight. For safety reasons, a safety zone is designated within the rules of each sport, usually starting with a border of red boards. The basic training area then consists of different coloured boards (blue, green, anthracite). It is recommended that this arrangement is always followed. No tools are allowed to be used when unfolding and folding the tatami into the area. It is not allowed to trample them, i.e. to use your feet when joining the individual boards.
