Because we know that your feet are the first to start getting cold, we've adapted the Expert's construction so that the zipper is shortened and ends about mid-thigh, so we could incorporate more insulation into the side instead of a zipper.

The three-layer construction of the BHB Micro fill ensures you stay warm and comfortable at all times, while providing a very comfortable weight and packability that is enhanced by the included compression sleeve.

BHB Micro three-layer shingle thermal insulation
Three-layer shingle insulation is a combination of two continuous layers of fleece and overlapping shingles in between. This achieves the effect where part of the sleeping bag has three layers and part has de facto four - these parts alternate, which contributes to a more efficient loft and therefore increases the insulating properties of the sleeping bag.
