  • The mountain will not spare you. First of all, the frost will be on your heels every step of the way and once your pace slows down, the cold will bite uncompromisingly. In the Rab Electron Pro Jacket, you'll have a key ally to fight the omnipresent cold. Its zonal chambers are stuffed with the finest European goose down, with a hydrophobic treatment that Rab developed in collaboration with Nikwax. The Pertex Quantum Pro outer fabric also doesn't shy away from moisture, so even in the worst weather, when snowflakes or raindrops surround your body, the jacket won't lose its insulating properties.

Thanks to the two-way zipper, you can put the jacket on over a harness and easily operate the belay. The hood with a fixed visor fits perfectly on the helmet and the sleeves, which are curved with elasticated gussets, do not get in the way, for example, when handling the cooker.

  • The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.

But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cool, breezy evenings around a campfire.
