The versatile Kilpi BIXBY-U sunglasses feature ultra-lightweight frameless construction and stylish sturdy photochromatic lenses. These are able to react to changes in sunlight by darkening or lightening depending on the intensity of the radiation. Slip-resistant silicone sides and nose saddle ensure stability and comfort when wearing.
Category 3 lenses, suitable for bright and very bright sunny days, transmittance 8-18%, UV 400, not suitable for wearing in twilight or low visibility. At maximum brightness, the Kilpi BIXBY-U Black provides 61% transmittance, at maximum darkness it provides 12% transmittance of light.
Darkening of the glasses, e.g. in clear conditions takes place within 90 seconds, full brightening takes place within 200 seconds. When transporting, you will appreciate the strong padded case and a soft cloth for cleaning the glasses. The weight of the glasses is just 24.9 g.
