The middle section of the Byway's tread is made for endless fast adventures on paved roads, while the side section with its distinctive lugs provides plenty of support when it comes to muddy or loose footing. Extending them into the sidewalls increases cornering traction and adds additional protection to the pattern.
New WTB tyre protection - SG2
In addition to its light weight, the SG2 tyre protection provides excellent puncture and puncture protection. These tyres have a high 120 TPI value - or threads per inch - which represents the density of fibres in the tyre carcass. This new protective layer is lightweight and contains an ultra-thin nylon liner that covers the entire surface of the tire from bead to bead. So you can hit any surface without worrying about punctures.
