  • You know how unpleasant it is when you get on top of a hill frost. Let alone when you're standing motionless at a belay station and the only movement is loosening the rope. That doesn't really warm you up. But it will warm you up with this Rab skirt filled with synthetic PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Luxe™, whose ultrafine recycled fibers work just as well as the finest down. The intrusive nor'easter and freezing precipitation are proudly defended by the durable Pertex Quantum Pro outerwear fabric, which has been tested by the Himalayan eight-thousanders. Elastic at the sides and a flexible Matrix™ waistband allow you to ski with the skirt on without restriction. And when you get back up to speed and get warm again, you can take the skirt off in a snap - by unzipping the full-length YKK zipper.< /p>

PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Luxe™ - fluffy as a feather, compressible as a feather, warm as a feather. These recycled synthetic fibers have the best properties of down and as a bonus, they insulate when wet.< /p>

  • The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.

But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cool, breezy evenings around a campfire.
