Tip for you: the thermos can be filled with hot water and put e.g. baby food in a jar, bag, etc. Or, like our Scandinavian friends, put sausages in them, mustard in the lid and surprise everyone when you open it at a picnic. And the others will have a cold steak... :-)
Note: dry foods, consisting mainly of pasta, rice, bulgur, couscous and the like do not have enough heat energy and the time for which the thermos will keep the desired temperature is reduced.
