The Pinguin heavy-duty tent will always protect you from the wind. It's reliable because it has a rigid 7075 T9 duralloy construction, while the ultra-lightweight Nylon Ripstop fabric on the UV-protected top saves weight.
RipStop treatment of the tropic and triple double-sided siliconization, guarantees a water column of 4,000 mm. Instead of taping seams, expansion threads are used, which multiply their volume when in contact with water to seal the needle hole. The liner is made of Nylon with PU coating with a water column of 10 000 mm.
