The Pinguin Matrix 38 is a high quality collapsible 38 mm high mattress, which is recommended for larger bodies as the Matrix is wider and longer. If you have a narrower body type, we recommend that you rather consider the Peak 38 from Pinguin, which has the same features but is smaller and therefore more collapsible and lighter.
The use of a vertical cavity construction and the beveling of the mattress at the foot area results in a great collapsible mattress. However, the same comfort and very good thermal insulation is maintained. The nylon screw valve is designed so that you won't lose the cap. You only need to push on the valve when inflating and the valve will close, giving you plenty of time to screw it in.
