Wave caravans are made up of two separate air chambers, a bottom and a top. This allows the pressure in each chamber to be regulated separately.

A common argument against purely inflatable mattresses is that when they deflate, the user sleeps on the ground. With two separate chambers, this danger is greatly reduced, as if one chamber is punctured, the other will save you.

The division of the mattress into two layers also contributes significantly to increased thermal insulation and therefore user comfort in colder weather.

The mattress is supplied with an inflatable bag, which reduces the amount of moisture "blown" into the mattress to a minimum. The bag is equipped with two valves so that both chambers of the mattress can be inflated simultaneously. You connect the valves of the bag to the valves of the mattress, "scoop" air into the bag, close it by rolling it and then squeeze it to move the air into the mattress. In this way, the mattress can be comfortably inflated to at least 80% of its volume.

To achieve the optimum final pressure, we recommend holding the valves or inflating by mouth due to the increased pressure inside the mattress.

The inflatable bag can also be used as a Drybag and is compatible with all Pinguin car mattresses equipped with a DLF - flat double layer valve.

Flat double layer valve with non-return flap for easier inflation/deflation and pressure regulation in the mattress. When the top layer of the valve is opened, the mattress can be easily inflated thanks to the non-return flap without losing pressure. By pushing the flap, the pressure in the mattress can be gently regulated. When the second layer is opened, the valve is fully open and the mattress can be easily deflated.
