The newest headlamp of the SEO series from Ledlenser is called LEDLENSER SEO 7R. It has inherited from its predecessors an attractive design and all the exceptional features: it has a removable (therefore washable) headband, a non-dazzling red LED light, a reflector lens in the hinged head that allows easy focusing of the light cone, intuitive one-button operation, a lock against accidental switching on and a battery box located directly in the reflector.

The SEO 7R, however, is also equipped with a set of rechargeable Li-Ion batteries that can be powered via a micro USB cable from a laptop, in the car, or directly from the mains. The output has been increased to a respectable 220 lumens with a range of up to 130 metres. But the main novelty is the dimming technology, which regulates the light output with respect to the reflection of light from an obstacle. This prevents unwanted glare and leads to energy savings.

Advanced Focus System
The combination of lens and reflector has created a unique technology that is unparalleled in the world. The result is a reflector lens that allows a beam of light to be focused with a smooth transition from a wide homogeneous circle of light to a sharp beam and vice versa. Focusing is done by simply moving the head of the flashlight forward (focus) or backward (defocus). LEDLENSER flashlights are the only ones in the world to use the principle of light refraction. Conventional flashlights only reflect light from reflective surfaces inside the flashlight head.

Speed Focus
Fast focus. SPEED FOCUS is a fast and reliable sliding focusing mechanism and in many ways superior to conventional rotary mechanisms. It is an integral part of the AFS (Advanced Focus System). In order for this mechanism to work, the LED, lens and reflector must be placed on the same axis. The precise positioning of this system is performed using laser technology. The flashlight can then be operated simply with one hand, by moving the head of the flashlight with your thumb away from or towards you, to achieve blurring or focusing of the light at lightning speed and, most importantly, comfortably.
