LEDLENSER MH6 - rechargeable outdoor headlamp

The new Ledlenser MH6 head torch is developed specifically for demanding outdoor activities. Its battery can be recharged via micro-USB, but can also be completely replaced by AAA pencil batteries. It can light up to 20 hours on power saving mode. With a maximum output of 200 lm, it can reach a distance of 120 m. Outdoor enthusiasts will not least appreciate its weight: just 93 g including batteries.

Thanks to the combination with a comfortable elastic (and reflective) strap (which can be detached and washed), the headlamp is almost impossible to feel on your head even after a full day of wear. The flashlight is above-average resistant according to IPX6 standards, so it won't fail even in rain or snow, or when dropped from a height. The flashlight can be programmed with Smart Light Technology, and of course includes the Advanced Focus System reflector lens as well as a quick focus mechanism.

The Temperature Control System protects the headlamp against overheating. The electrolytically gold-plated contacts guarantee high resistance to corrosive damage caused mostly by acid or battery gas. This is confirmed by the seven-year warranty that covers Ledlenser flashlights.

Advanced Focus System
The combination of lens and reflector has created a unique technology that is unparalleled in the world. The result is a reflector lens that allows a beam of light to be focused with a smooth transition from a wide homogeneous circle of light to a sharp beam and vice versa. Focusing is done by simply moving the head of the flashlight forward (focusing) or backward (defocusing). LEDLENSER flashlights are the only ones in the world to use the principle of light refraction. Conventional flashlights only reflect light from reflective surfaces inside the flashlight head.

Speed Focus
Quick focus. SPEED FOCUS is a fast and reliable sliding focusing mechanism and in many ways superior to conventional rotary mechanisms. It is an integral part of the AFS (Advanced Focus System). In order for this mechanism to work, the LED, lens and reflector must be placed on the same axis. The precise positioning of this system is performed using laser technology. The flashlight can then be operated simply with one hand, by moving the head of the flashlight with your thumb away from or towards you, to achieve blurring or focusing of the light at lightning speed and comfortably.

Gold plated contacts
Gold is an excellent electrical conductor and is extremely durable. Its durability lies in its ability to resist corrosion and its high degree of chemical resistance. It is estimated that approximately 70% of flashlight failures can be attributed to corrosive damage caused by acid or battery gas. This is why LEDLENSER flashlights have gold-plated contacts.
