FENIX HL26R - Rechargeable headlamp

The compact Fenix HL26R rechargeable headlamp delivers up to 450 lumens (ANSI) of light and a range of up to 100 meters. Power is provided by a built-in 1600 mAh lithium polymer battery that charges via a micro-USB connector directly in the headlamp.

The light source is a state-of-the-art Cree XP-G2 R5 LED located in the main reflector. Two white Nichia LEDs are used for additional illumination, creating a wide and very smooth cone of light. A total of 7 power modes are available, including an SOS flash mode for emergency situations.

The headlamp also has the advantage of good waterproof and dustproof protection to IP66 standard. The headlamp strap is equipped with reflective elements that ensure good omnidirectional visibility when running on the road. With a weight of just 86 grams, the Fenix HL26R is perfect as a running headlamp as well as a headlamp for camping, hiking and other outdoor activities.

Main Spotlight: 450 lumens (1.5 hours)-> 130 lumens (6 hours)-> 70 lumens (12 hours)-> 30 lumens (25 hours)
Additional LED Modes: 40 lumens (13 hours) -> 4 lumens (100 hours) -> SOS flashing 40 lumens (26 hours).

Use
The main spotlight is switched on and off by pressing the right button for 0.5 seconds. Once the headlamp is switched on, the basic light modes (30 lumens -> 70 lumens -> 130 lumens) can be cycled through with a short press of the button. When switched off, the headlamp remembers the last set light level. Burst mode (450 lumens) is activated by holding the right button for 1.2 seconds (even when the headlamp is off). Pressing the right button again returns the headlamp to its original mode. The additional LEDs are switched on and off by holding the left button for 0.5 seconds each time in low mode. Short presses can be used to cycle between 40 lumens -> 4 lumens -> SOS modes. The main spotlight and supplementary LEDs cannot be activated simultaneously. Battery indication - After a short press of the left button (the headlamp must be switched off), the battery status LED on the bottom of the headlamp is activated. Four lit LEDs indicate the battery is over 80% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged. Low Battery Warning - If the battery power drops below 20% while the headlamp is in operation, the charge status indicator will start flashing. Overheat protection - Operation on Burst mode is limited to 1 minute at a time, after which the headlamp will return to the previous light mode.

Charging
Remove the rubber cap of the micro USB connector on the bottom of the headlamp and use the included USB cable to plug it into a computer, USB AC adapter or USB car adapter. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can be used for charging. During charging, the four indicator LEDs on the underside gradually light up, after a full charge they all light up permanently. Charging time for a fully discharged battery takes about 3 hours. The battery used does not suffer from a memory effect, so the headlamps can be recharged at any time. Thoroughly seal the USB connector cap after each charge. The headlamp can be switched on while charging, but only the main reflector in 30 lumen mode.

Caution
