BatteryLock™ Technology
With BatteryLock™ Technology, you no longer have to worry about your flashlight not working when you need it most. Standard batteries in electric flashlights lose power over time, even when the flashlight is turned off. This is due to the battery not being fully disconnected from the electrical contacts with the flashlight. With Coleman's patented BatteryLock™ technology, simply rotating the flashlight body disconnects the battery contact to prevent energy loss.
