The Fenix FD30 focusing flashlight offers an extreme light output of up to 900 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 200 meters. It also offers an adjustable cone focal width (zoom) from 7 to 76 degrees. The flashlight can be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries or one high-capacity li-ion 18650 battery.

The Fenix FD30 features six different light modes, allowing you to choose between high power, long lasting (up to 170 hours) and flash mode for attention grabbing and emergency situations. The flashlight is powered by a digitally controlled constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the battery voltage is reduced (when the batteries are slowly discharging).

The FD30 impresses not only with its compact size and high power, but also with the possibility of attaching the Fenix AER-02 cable switch. Use
To turn on, press the switch located on the end of the flashlight. Press the side button at the head of the flashlight to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. The flashlight remembers the last power mode set, except strobe. The cone width is controlled by turning the ring on the flashlight barrel. Intelligent overheat protection - operation on 900 lumens turbo mode is limited to 5 minutes at a time, after which the flashlight switches itself to 350 lumens mode. At the same time, the flashlight monitors its temperature and if it rises above 55°C, it will automatically start to reduce power in gradual steps of 5% every 30 seconds until its temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature of the flashlight drops below 55°C, the output will automatically increase to the original level again.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the head of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty. Use only high quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 li-ion batteries to avoid damaging the flashlight, for example due to battery leakage. If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water. If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: the batteries are almost dead - replace them. The contacts inside the flashlight are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. The head, body or back of the flashlight is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the end of the flashlight firmly.
