The SIGG bottles are made from a single piece of aluminium to ensure a perfect seal. The double shell of the thermos, made of high quality stainless steel, has a vacuum space between the shells and thus promotes thermal insulation properties. The plastic parts of the thermos are made of polypropylene, which does not contain BPA or phthalates. The seal of the thermos is made of high quality silicone. There is also a removable tea filter.
