Photochromatic visors
The visors are self-darkening, i.e. they adjust themselves to the surrounding weather within a predefined range of solar intensity. Thanks to NTS technology, the tinting is activated not by the ambient temperature but by the intensity of UV radiation. Julbo's self-tinting lenses are divided into five different types depending on the activity and purpose for which the lens is intended. Compared to polycarbonate lenses, they are more durable - virtually unbreakable thanks to NXT technology, they are lighter, the material is resistant to chemicals such as gasoline or acetone, and they are lifetime photochromic. This is due to the fact that not only is a photochromic layer added to the glass, as in conventional self-tinting glasses, but this technology is already part of the glass itself.
