MERRELL 68020 ARCTIC FOX 6 WP - women's winter hiking boots

Head out on your next outdoor, winter adventure in warmth and comfort with the women's Merrell Arctic Fox 6 waterproof winter boot . Specifically designed for snow adventures, this women's MERRELL winter boot is made with a waterproof full-grain leather material combined with polyurethane-coated leather and a neoprene upper with a waterproof membrane. A waterproof but breathable barrier against the elements.

With over 400 grams on the toe and tongue and 200 grams on the back of the boot, PrimaLoft® Eco™ DualZone™ insulation provides warmth where it's needed most. The fleece lining and thermo-insulating ActiveHeat™ insole lend much-needed warmth to women's feet.

The female-specific insole and footbed are designed to provide more comfort and support for the female foot. The grippy rubber outsole of the Merrell Arctic Fox 6 women's waterproof boots provides reliable traction on a variety of terrains be it slippery surfaces, ice or snow.

Patented Merrell Air Cushion® midsole absorbs shock and adds stability to the foot. This system is used exclusively in Merrell footwear. The Air Cushion® system compresses at heel impact and absorbing impact energy equivalent to up to four times the body weight, this system is second to none when it comes to comfort and support. In addition, Air Cushion® forms a distinctive heel cup that keeps the heel centered in the shoe and helps stabilize the foot. The comfort and cushioning of a running shoe, with the stability and control needed for hiking. Does not contain any bags or capsules that could shoot or explode!

Q-FORM® MIDSOLE

Q-Form® helps maintain a neutral footprint and corrects the above mentioned deficiencies. It provides women with comfort and also reduces the wear rate of the shoe.

Q-Form® is an injection-moulded midsole with three separate strength levels. Combined with a patented air cushioning system, the system changes a woman's stride toward a smoother, more balanced process leading to increased comfort and stability and extending the life of the shoe.

WATERPROOF MERRELL CONSTRUCTION

Of course, in addition to the GORE-TEX® membrane,Merrell® usesother methods and elements in the construction and processing of footwear to ensure waterproofing. These include water-repellent treatments for uppers, insole and lace materials, waterproof piping and ensuring seam sealing by sealing laces and laminating. The main advantage of leathers with a waterproof finish is that their properties do not change even with frequent soaking and drying. The leather does not harden, dry out or crack.
