Water purification using ultraviolet radiation is a quick and convenient way to obtain drinking water on the go, if source water without visible turbidity is primarily available.

SteriPEN UV lamps in a pocket-sized, multi-patented design are available in an outdoor series (powered by removable batteries) and a travel series (powered by a micro-USB cable). A nice addition is the optional 40-micron pre-filter, which makes it possible to treat even slightly cloudy water.
