Photochromatic lenses:
They are self-darkening, i.e. they adjust themselves to the surrounding weather within a pre-defined range of solar intensity. Thanks to NTS technology, the tinting is activated not by the ambient temperature but by the intensity of UV radiation. Julbo divides self-tinting lenses into five different types depending on the activity and purpose for which the lens is intended. Compared to polycarbonate, they are more durable - virtually unbreakable thanks to NXT technology, they are lighter, the material is resistant to chemicals such as gasoline or acetone, and they are photochromic for life. This is because not only is there an added photochromic layer on the glass, as with conventional self-tinting glasses, but the technology is already part of the glass itself.
