The Kilpi WIDALPEN-M men's hooded ski jacket has been made from SIBERIUM 20,000 2L STRETCH, which is double-layered and offers a water column of 20,000 mm waterproofness. The material is also breathable. The material construction uses two layers folded in opposite directions and the waterproof membrane provides high durability and comfort.
The jacket can be used for a wide range of winter sports activities with an emphasis on protection from the elements. The lining along with the SIBERIUM 20,000 2L material enhances the moisture wicking ability of the material. The stretch material ensures freedom of movement. The jacket has taped seams. The elasticated hem is elasticated with a drawcord.
There are two main zipped pockets at the front and chest. There is also an internal goggle pocket with a goggle cleaning cloth, a ski pass pocket and a multimedia pocket. The hood is removable. A snow belt protects the hip area against cold and moisture ingress. The sleeve cuffs are Velcro.
On the back of the jacket is a RECCO reflector, which is used to identify the skier within the RECCO rescue system. Ski areas and rescue teams have RECCO detectors that send directional search signals that bounce off the RECCO reflectors worn by skiers, riders and other active people on the mountain.
