Wiley X Saber sports goggles are the epitome of flexibility and can be used in virtually any situation. You can adapt to a wide range of lighting conditions with a quick and easy lens change. There are five types to choose from, which can be purchased and freely combined. Only one type of lens is included in this package. Depending on the physical demands of the activity you perform with the glasses, you decide whether to attach the glasses to your face with the sides or replace the feet with a snap-on elastic band. The elastic noseband playfully adapts to any shape and size of nose, plus you can attach a carrier for additional dioptric lenses.

The exceptional protective properties of the glasses are certified to ANSI standards.

TECHNOLOGY

ANSI HIGH VELOCITY IMPACT TEST

Goggles certified to the ANSI HIGH VELOCITY IMPACT standard shall be able to withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball fired at 164.6 km/h. The unbroken lens must remain firmly seated in the frame of the goggle, and the frame must remain intact.

ANSI HIGH MASS IMPACT TEST - Heavy Body Impact Resistance Test

Wiley X glasses are tested and certified by ANSI(American National Standards Institute) for resistance to heavy body impact (High Mass Impact Test). Glasses with this certification are subjected to the impact of a 500 g heavy projectile dropped from a height of 127 cm. To be certified, the lens of the glasses must remain firmly seated in the frame of the glasses after the test and, like the frame, must remain undamaged. This test declares that with Wiley X glasses your eyesight will be perfectly protected in the event of a collision with falling objects such as pebbles, but also, for example, in the event of an airbag deployment in the event of a car accident.

Certified according to EN.166f, the glasses must withstand the impact of a 22 mm diameter, 43 g steel ball dropped from a height of 1.3 m and impacting at a speed of 18 km/h. The unbroken lens shall remain firmly seated in the frame of the spectacles and the frame shall remain intact.

360° NOSE PIECE - Goggles for every nose

The Wiley X Top Rim System is constructed with a wire core and a specially developed rubber casing. Thanks to the wire system, the beam can be bent and rotated 360° to accommodate literally any nose shape and size. The specially developed rubber sheathing of the beam has excellent grip and holds onto the nose in virtually any situation. At the same time, it guarantees its wearer maximum comfort for all-day wear. The nosepieces are equipped with PTX prescription insert technology, which allows the wearer to fit additional dioptric lenses.

ELASTIC STRAP - Strap instead of feet

Selected models of Wiley X glasses are equipped with an additional elastic strap, the so-called strap, which encircles the entire head. The strap does not attach to the sides (feet of the glasses), but "snaps" directly onto the frames of the glasses instead of the removable sides. Thanks to this, the glasses will not fall off the face even in the most extreme situations. This will be especially appreciated by athletes who require the glasses to stay on their eyes really tightly, but also, for example, by shooters for whom the sides of the glasses might get in the way under protective shooting headphones.

CHANGEABLE LENSES - Interchangeable lenses

Different lighting conditions call for different types of goggles. But as a rule, you don't always have two or three types of lenses on hand, depending on the vagaries of the weather. That's why some models of Wiley X goggles allow you to change lenses. For example, you can very easily change from light lenses with high light transmission to dark polarized lenses when the weather changes. And vice versa. The change is made by simply snapping them on. This feature does not detract from the level of durability and safety for which the glasses are certified.

PTX PRESCRIPTION INSERT - Diopters for shooters

Dioptric lenses can be inserted into most models with Full Rim System technology, i.e. frames that wrap around the entire lens. But even if you choose shooting glasses with a frame at the top of the lenses (Top Rim System), you don't have to be limited by the dioptric defect of your eyes. Additional dioptric lenses can be attached to these frames on select models using Wiley X Prescription Insert technology. The special dioptric lens holder simply clips onto the inside of the frame. The dioptric lenses are thus hidden in the space between the protective lenses of the Wiley X glasses and the eye itself. The glasses thus become dioptric without losing their certified safety

SMART EDGE LENS TECHNOLOGY - Distortion-free vision

With conventional optical lenses, light refraction often results in distortion of the relative size of the object, loss of clarity or decentralisation of the image. Wiley X lenses meet American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards for optical accuracy, and rigorous testing has shown that Wiley X lenses do not distort optical clarity even for distant objects, do not increase the relative size of the perceived image, and maintain the spatial arrangement of objects, or do not decentralize objects in the field of view, as is often the case with conventional lenses.

TOP RIM SYSTEM

Top Rim System frames are attached to the lenses at the top edge of the lens (as opposed to Full Rim System frames, which wrap around the entire lens.) Top Rim System frames are equipped with 360°Nose Piece technology on some models, which allows the glasses to be comfortably fitted and worn on any nose shape and size, thanks to a specially developed rubber material, while also attaching RX Insert technology to the glasses to insert dioptric lenses. The frames are U-shaped (U-Shape) so they fit perfectly on the face and do not form any indentations.

U-SHAPE - anatomical shaping

Wiley X glasses are shaped exactly according to the anatomy of the human face in a U-shape, giving the eyes maximum protection from all angles, while at the same time fitting naturally on the face without causing any bruising even after all-day wear.

PRESCRIPTION (RX) - Dioptric correction

Eyesight plays a very important role in our daily lives. If our vision is not 100%, we are forced to make compromises. Wiley X glasses allow us to live life to the full. They combine the features of protective, sunglasses and dioptric glasses. The entire eyewear is certified by EN.166 safety tests, ensuring your eyes maximum protection even in extreme conditions. The polycarbonate laminated lenses then guarantee clear and sharp vision in all lighting conditions thanks to the unique Wiley X technology. RX Ready glasses can then be fitted with dioptric lenses with appropriate spectacle correction tailored to the individual customer. The High RX designation even allows the insertion of very strong dioptric lenses ranging from +5.00 to -7.00 diopters. Your vision will no longer limit you even in the most extreme situations.
