The company was founded in 1992 by two Czech climbers together with their Belgian business partner. During the first 10 years, the owners managed to build up a manufacturing company in the Czech Republic with a mature and very modern technological park, which specializes in climbing harnesses and climbing ropes - i.e. products for securing people at heights.
Today, SINGING ROCK is a well-known name in the climbing world. Gradually, the product range has expanded to carabiners, belay and rappelling aids, pulleys, etc. SINGING ROCK develops and offers complete equipment not only for climbers, but also for caving, working at heights, firefighters and rescuers.
Professional climbers of the world's extraterrestrial class Salavat Rakhmetov, Serik Kazbekov and Natalia Perlova work on testing new products together with the company's developers. Among the well-known Czech climbers are e.g. Adam Ondra, Luboš Mázl, Dušan Janák and many others, who intensively help with the verification of prototypes during practical tests and literally fly the first kilometres on the new equipment before mass production begins.
