Designed for climbers or hikers who prefer a low boot but require a highly stable and stiff boot. Ideal for assured routes, bouldering , climbing or for hikers who go several days crossing with a heavier pack. The boot is designed in accordance with the A.D.D. technology typical of Garmont, where the design and functionality of the construction is subordinated to the anatomy of the human foot.
Upper made of high-quality 1.8 mm suede leather with GTX membrane, metal eyelets for laces to better distribute the forces acting on the upper, lacing up to the toe increasing stability on small steps and allowing greater adaptability to different foot types.
"Heel Lock" system whereby the heel is closed with laces against unwanted movement and thus blistering, rubber heel protector protecting exposed areas of the upper, PU embedded stabilizer in the heel for increased stability and comfort when walking.
Durable yet grippy Vibram Maton outsole with 6mm high self-cleaning pattern and climbing zone in the toe, stressed heel to increase braking efficiency on long descents.
Garmont DRAGONTAIL MNT GTX® are ideal for light trekking, ferrata, alpine training days, high altitude traversing.
