In 1984, a young guide on the Grand Canyon River revolutionized the shoe industry when he created the world's first sport sandal. The idea soon spawned a brand, and a new Teva® adventure was born.

It's been 25 years since that first step out of the Grand Canyon, and every moment, Teva ® is hard at work developing products that enable and support your adventure. Of course, given our heritage, we have an obsession with water, and our passion lies in identifying and expanding the areas in which water adventures can be pursued. For us, water represents a paradox. It is a source of year-round fun, but it is also a year-round problem. Anyone who has ever slipped on a patch of ice or been forced to deal with wet socks can attest to this paradox.

Essentially, Teva® has two basic tasks: To help have fun and to protect. Play in the water, but also provide protection from it. Our job is to manage this delicate balance so you can go out in our shoes without worry. Armed with a quarter century of knowledge and technology, we are dedicated to developing products that strike the balance and make the most of your adventures.
