Polycarbonate lenses are extremely durable and filter out 100% of UV radiation. Smoke grey colouring with a light transmission of 14-20% minimises glare and does not distort colours. Excellent in bright to blinding lighting conditions.

The protective properties of the glasses are certified to ANSI standards. These are further enhanced in this series by the ability to attach a special foam gasket to the frames. This prevents any contamination, airflow or reflected sunlight from penetrating under the goggles and the eyes are thus perfectly protected.

The combination of matte black frame with smoked lenses makes Wiley X Gravity glasses elegant, but at the same time very practical.

1. Glasses certified to EN.166 standardf must withstand the impact of a 22 mm diameter, 43 g steel ball dropped from a height of 1.3 m and impacting at 18 km/h. The unbroken lens shall remain firmly seated in the frame of the spectacles and the frame shall remain intact.

Wiley X lenses meet the optical accuracy standards of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), whose rigorous testing has shown that Wiley X lenses do not distort optical clarity even for distant objects, do not increase the relative size of the perceived image, and preserve the spatial arrangement of objects, or do not decentralize objects in the field of view, as is often the case with conventional lenses.
   
3. Wiley X lenses are equipped with a patented sealing system, the so-called gasket. This consists of a removable FACIAL CAVITYTM SEALS frame, which makes the Wiley X glasses fit perfectly to the face. The special foam material prevents the passage of the finest microparticles and sunlight, protecting your vision from dry eye syndrome, while its ventilation capabilities prevent the lenses from fogging up. Your vision will remain flawlessly clear even in the most extreme conditions.

Wiley X glasses are tested and certified by ANSI (American National Standards Institute) for resistance to heavy body impact (High Mass Impact Test). Glasses with this certification are subjected to the impact of a 500 g heavy projectile dropped from a height of 127 cm. To be certified, the lens of the glasses must remain firmly seated in the frame of the glasses after the test and, like the frame, must remain undamaged. This test declares that with the Wiley X glasses your eyesight will be perfectly protected in the event of a collision with falling objects such as pebbles, but also, for example, in the event of an airbag deployment in the event of a car accident.

Selected Wiley X glasses models are equipped with an additional elastic strap, called a strap, which encircles the entire head. The strap does not attach to the sides (feet of the glasses), but "snaps" directly onto the frames of the glasses instead of the removable sides. Thanks to this, the glasses will not fall off the face even in the most extreme situations. This is especially appreciated by athletes who require the goggles to stay really tight on their eyes, but also, for example, by shooters who might find the sides of the goggles obstructive under their shooting headphones.
