Trek Rail 7 is a mountain e-bike with higher travel for demanding descents. We've equipped it with the same parts as our top-of-the-line trail bikes without pedal assist, like a better fork, shifter and battery, plus a powerful new Bosch drivetrain that essentially gives you a taxi to take you up the hill.

2. Rail humbles trails just like similar models without pedal assist. But it has one more advantage. It gets you back up the mountain in no time, so you don't have to let anyone balance you.
3. The Purion has a walk-with-bike assist feature and a smart eMTB mode that automatically adjusts the energy needed based on the terrain.
4. We've used exclusive technologies from the Remedy and Slash models, such as the adjustable Mino Link geometry, extra-stiff Straight Shot down tube and Active Braking Pivot (ABP) system.
5. Trek's Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system is sleek and very practical. The battery is hidden in the frame, which also protects it. You can easily remove it without tools and mount a bottle basket on the down tube.

New Bosch Performance Line CX - The brand new Bosch Performance Line CX motor is lighter, smaller and quieter than previous models. Plus, it's more responsive and blends in more with the bike. It's also more efficient, so you can go further on a single battery charge. The smart eMTB mode automatically adapts assistance to the terrain. Once you've set it, you can forget about it and just enjoy the ride, as it will dose your energy precisely.

Custom eMTB Lite Mode - Trek mountain bikes have an eMTB Lite mode instead of Tour mode. This offers a very natural smooth speed boost that makes the battery last longer.

Removable Integrated Battery - The RIB is a one-piece battery with a cover and built-in handle that can be removed and reinstalled in the frame easily and without tools. This is the most convenient way to remove the battery for transport or charging or for safety.

Knock Block protects your frame from damage. It protects the handlebars from spinning, prevents the top frame tube from being damaged by the handlebars and also prevents cables from tangling.
