TREK is headquartered in Waterloo, Wisconsin. The family-owned business was founded by Richard Burke in 1976, starting out in a small steel bicycle factory with just five employees. Today, TREK sets the trends in bicycle development and is also considered a leader in the processing of Carbone. Its proprietary processing technology, called OCLV, has been applied in production with many innovations for more than 17 years.
