Fenix CL20R is a practical rechargeable portable lantern that can be used to illuminate a room, tent or workbench. Sixteen high-brightness LEDs hidden under a hemispherical diffuser provide up to 300 lumens (ANSI) of light with a neutral white light tint. The advantage of this light hue is a more natural and contrasting color rendition in the outdoors.

Power is provided by a built-in lithium polymer battery that is recharged via a micro-USB connector. The lantern offers a total of six lighting modes, including red light, which does not interfere with the eyes' adaptation to darkness.

The lantern also features an extended battery life function. For extended use in turbo (300 lumens), high (130 lumens) and medium (40 lumens) modes, the lantern gradually reduces power in small increments to achieve longer light duration.

Thanks to its durable and shockproof IP66-rated construction, the lantern can be safely used even in inclement weather (heavy rain). The underside of the lantern is fitted with a hanging eye and a strong neodymium magnet, so it can be easily hung or fixed to anything iron. Its compact size and weight of 91 grams including the battery make the lantern especially suitable for hiking.

All lantern parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix CL20R
To turn on or off, hold the side button down for 1 second. The four power levels are switched by pressing the button, the red light is activated by pressing the button twice quickly. To activate the red flash, first turn on the red light and then just press the button once.
Charging - Unclip the rubber cap of the micro USB connector on the side of the lantern and plug it into a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter using the included USB cable. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can be used for charging. The side button glows red while charging and turns green when fully charged. After charging the flashlight, reseal the charging connector thoroughly with the rubber cap. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 1.6 hours. In an emergency, the lantern can also be used while charging, but only the 1 lumen and 40 lumen modes will be available.
Indication of battery charge status. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If the light is red, the battery is charged to 20-50%. Red flashing indicates less than 20% battery capacity remaining.
