The Fenix LD15R is a powerful rechargeable pocket flashlight that offers up to 500 lumens (ANSI) of neutral white light (4500K) with a range of up to 85 meters, and it also features red LEDs. It is powered by a single RCR123A rechargeable battery that recharges directly in the flashlight via a micro-USB connector, alternatively a disposable CR123A lithium battery can be used for power.

In addition, there is an indicator LED in the control button, so you will always know when to recharge the battery. The end of the flashlight is magnetic, so it can easily be attached to anything metal. In addition, the flashlight is equipped with a bi-directional multi-functional clip. The LD15R features seven different lighting modes, allowing you to choose between high power and long lasting (up to 110 hours).

The flashlight is powered by a digitally controlled constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the battery voltage is reduced (when the batteries are slowly discharging). The Fenix LD15R (originally called Fenix UC09) is destined to serve as a work flashlight, a business flashlight hanging on a pocket or strap, and as a flashlight for everyday use at home and on the go.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproof, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use
There may be a black insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery pack from the factory. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.
Hold the button for half a second to turn on and off. Additional button presses can be used to switch between white light modes 3 - 30 - 150 - 500 lumens at any time during operation. To switch between red and white light modes, hold the side button for approximately 1.2 seconds. In the red light mode, short button presses can be used to switch cyclically between the red light, flashing and SOS modes.
Battery charge indication. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining.

Charging
Unsnap the rubber cap of the micro USB connector on the side of the flashlight and plug it into a computer, power bank, USB AC adapter or USB car adapter using the included USB cable. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can be used for charging. The side button glows red while charging and turns green when fully charged. After charging the flashlight, reseal the charging connector with the rubber cap. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 1.5 hours. In an emergency, the flashlight can also be used while charging, but only the 30 lumen mode will be available.
Discharged Battery Warning (only functional with RCR123A) - the flashlight will automatically switch to the lowest mode and flash every three seconds.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the head of the flashlight by yourself, it will violate the warranty.
If using a disposable CR123A battery, do not try to charge it in the flashlight.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight blinks, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The battery is almost dead - charge it or replace it.
The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
The back of the flashlight is loose - tighten it.
